Big Thanks to My Niece

She emptied all of our pencil bags and washed them.

She then filled them all back up with new crayons, pencils, erasers and glue.

Oooops

I took all kinds of pictures at the Christmas sing-a-long and party. I loaded them on the computer and told the computer to erase the pictures off the camera. Then my photo program crashed and I lost all the pictures. Sorry!

Goodbye Mr. Draney

Goodbye Mr. Draney. We are going to miss having you teach in Kindergarten.
To say goodbye we had a surprise party. The students all hid around the room with a big SURPRISE we he came in. We then had cupcakes (After we counted them. Had to get our math in.) and play Bingo. Mr. Draney then went outside with us and played ball. It was a great day.
Thanks Mr. Draney for all your hard work.

Interesting Event

Something quite out of the normal happened today. Unfortunately, the kids were in music and missed it. I looked out the window a say a couple of crows. I looked again and realized there were a lot. I would say there were at least 3 dozen.

Count Down

The Christmas count down is on.
It's time for a break. We have been putting a lot of new information in our brains.
Every day as we do calendar we have to count how many days until Christmas. . . . . that's O.K. great counting practice. I'm not counting the days until Christmas but the school days left until Christmas break. 8 if your not counting. Which is hard sometimes knowing that my sister only has 4 days left of school before Christmas break.

Special Visitor

We had a surprise visit from the Grinch, today. As long as the students are working hard the Grinch won't still their Christmas. It was a frightening experience for some. I think everyone was on good terms with the Grinch after doughnuts were handed out.
